Europe Surf Report & Forecast

Europe's Atlantic coast lights up from autumn through winter, when North Atlantic storms send powerful swell towards its shores. Portugal offers everything from the beach-break barrels of Supertubos in Peniche and the reefs and points of Ericeira, Europe's first World Surfing Reserve, to the record-breaking giants of Nazaré. In France, Hossegor's La Gravière is a famously heavy beach break and Spain's Mundaka a classic river-mouth left, while Ireland's Bundoran and Mullaghmore and Scotland's Thurso East reward surfers who brave the cold.
