Africa Surf Report & Forecast

Beyond South Africa, the continent is home to some of surfing's most remarkable waves. On Namibia's desert coast, Skeleton Bay near Walvis Bay is a sand-bottomed left often described as one of the longest barrels on earth, at its best when a big south-westerly swell lines up. Far to the north, Anchor Point at Taghazout in Morocco is a classic right-hand point break that comes alive in the northern winter, roughly October to March, when Atlantic storms send long-period north-westerly swell down the coast.
