Jeffreys Bay Surf Report & Forecast

Jeffreys Bay is home to one of the world's great right-hand point breaks. When a long-period groundswell from the Southern Ocean wraps into the bay and the wind blows from the west or south-west, the sections from Boneyards through Supertubes and Impossibles down to Tubes can peel for hundreds of metres. Prime season runs from roughly May to September, when winter cold fronts line up the swell. Water temperatures swing between about 14°C and 22°C, and the J-Bay Open on the WSL Championship Tour lands here most winters.
